Rayya Badran ist Autorin, Übersetzerin und Pädagogin und lebt in Beirut. Ihre Texte und Übersetzungen erscheinen in Publikationen wie u.a. Bidoun, Ibraaz, Art Papers, Norient, The Wire. Seit 2014 gibt sie Kurse über zeitgenössische Kunst und Sound Studies am Institut für Bildende Kunst und Kunstgeschichte der American University of Beirut und hat eine zweimonatliche Sendung auf Radio Alhara. 

Rayya Badran is a writer, translator, and educator based in Beirut. Her writings and translations have featured in various publications such as Bidoun, Ibraaz, Art Papers, Norient, The Wire, and more. She has taught courses on contemporary art and sound studies at the department of Fine Arts and Art History at the American University of Beirut since 2014 and has a bi-monthly show on Radio Alhara.
