Einer der Köpfe hinter FOLD ist James Newmarch. Er ist zugleich Haustechniker und Resident DJ. Hinter der Maske von Voicedrone verbirgt sich FOLDs Haus-Handwerker Lasha Jorjoliani, der mit seinem Know How den Ort zur Bastion für Underground-Elektronik und inklusive Raves gemacht hat, nach der sich die britische Hauptstadt lange sehnte.

One of the minds behind FOLD is James Newmarch. He is both house technician and resident DJ of the venue. Behind the mask of Voicedrone is FOLD’s house craftsman Lasha Jorjoliani, whose expertise has made the venue the bastion of underground electronics and inclusive non-binary raves that the UK capital has long craved.

FOLD ist ein von Künstler*innen geführter, Community-Club und Kunstraum für elektronische Musik, audiovisuelle Performances und Live-Streaming. Der Ort ist dabei immer auch ein wichtiger Safe Space der queeren Techno-Community in East London.
