Eines Tages wird Beni wie Los Angeles sein. Zumindest für Rap. Zumindest wenn es nach den «Libende Boyz» geht, was so viel bedeutet wie «Eiserne Männer». Die Gruppe junger Rapper und Musiker versucht, ihren Traum zu verwirklichen, indem sie die Stadt im Norden der Demokratischen Republik Kongo lebenswerter machen, wo seit 2014 verheerende Massaker an der Zivilbevölkerung verübt werden.. Ein ethnografischer Dokfilm im DIY-Stil, der respektvoll die Spannung zwischen der allgegenwärtigen Gewalt und der Freude an Musik und Alltag einfängt.

One day, Beni will be like Los Angeles. At least for rap. At least according to the «Libende Boyz», meaning «iron men», a group of young rappers and musicians that tries not only to fulfill their dream but also to make the city in the north of the Democratic Republic of Congo – which has been struck by devastating civilian massacres since 2014 – a better place. An intriguing ethnographic DIY-style documentary that respectfully captures the tension between ubiquitous violence and the joys of music and everyday life.
