Jan Moszumański arbeitet vor allem mit Film, Skulptur und Ton. Er interessiert sich besonders für den Ursprung von Träumen und Ambitionen und deren Besonderheiten, zum Beispiel die Rolle des Erhabenen bei der Konditionierung sozialer Bedürfnisse, nachhaltige Entwicklung oder die Kommerzialisierung der Erfahrung von Angst in der Horrorliteratur des 19. Jahrhunderts. Er hat etliche Musikvideos für die Künstler des ugandischen Plattenlabels Nyege Nyege Tapes produziert. Derzeit arbeitet er am zweiten und dritten Teil der Dokfilmserie Nyege Nyege Tapes Tapes.

Jan Moszumański works mainly with film, sculpture, and sound. He is interested in the origin of dreams and ambitions and their particularities, for example, the role of the sublime in conditioning social needs, sustainable development, or the commodification of the experience of fear in 19th-century horror literature. He has created numerous music videos for artists associated with the Ugandan record label Nyege Nyege Tapes. Currently, he's working on the second and third parts of the feature documentary series Nyege Nyege Tapes.
