David Alexander Currie ist ein kreativer Technologe, Software-Ingenieur und Musiker. Als Performer erforscht er Systeme, Algorithmen und Live-Coding. Als Technologe schafft er interaktive Erlebnisse mit Schwerpunkt auf generative Klänge. Derzeit ist er Postdoc-Stipendiat am Interactive Telecommunications Program der NYU, wo er Möglichkeiten zur Wiederverwendung alternder und obsoleter Hardware untersucht. Er hat einen BMUS (First Class) in Musikkomposition und Musiktechnologie von der New Zealand School of Music-Te Kōkī und einen M.P.S. in Interactive Telecommunications von der NYU.

David Alexander Currie is a creative technologist, software engineer, and musician. As a performer, he explores systems, algorithms, and live coding. As a technologist he creates interactive experiences with a focus on generative sound. He is currently a postdoc fellow at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, where he is researching ways to repurpose aging and obsolete hardware. He holds a BMus (First Class) in Music Composition and Music Technology from the New Zealand School of Music – Te Kōkī and an MPS in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU.
