Auf diesem Panel wird die in Nairobi lebende Filmemacherin Emma Nzioka mit der queeren kenianisch-tansanischen Künstler*in Janice Iche und der Musik-Kuratorin Audrey Powell über den künstlerischen und ökonomischen Struggle in krisengeschüttelten Zeiten diskutieren.

How to survive as an artist in times of a world struck by the climate crisis, political instabilities, and a ruthless music industry driven by money and social trends? While some simply give up, others manage to tap into inner sources of strength and resilience, often supported by a community. In this panel, the Nairobi-based filmmaker Emma Nzioka will discuss the artistic and economic struggles in times of crisis with queer Kenyan-Tanzanian artist Janice Iche and music curator Audrey Powell.
