Nach dem Musikpreis des Kanton Berns (2017) und dem Swiss Music Prize (2018), erhielt der Schweizer Mundartrapper Baze im Februar 2020 an den Swiss Music Awards den «Artist Award» für sein zwanzigjähriges künstlerisches Schaffen. Im Oktober 2018 veröffentlichte er sein siebtes Album Gott und im  Januar 2020 landete er mit seiner Gruppe Chlyklass zum zweiten mal auf Platz 1. der Schweizer Hitparade.

Für sein im Dezember 2022 erschienenes Album BRU arbeitete er mit Isaac Mutant zusammen. Am Norient Festival erzählt Baze von seiner Zusammenarbeit mit dem Süd-Afrikanischen Rapper nach dem Screening von Mutant’s Filmportrait.

After the Music Prize of the Canton of Bern (2017) and the Swiss Music Prize (2018), the Swiss dialect rapper Baze received the «Artist Award» at the Swiss Music Awards in February 2020 for his twenty years of artistic work. In October 2018 he released his seventh album Gott and in January 2022 he and his group Chlyklass reached number 1 in the Swiss hit parade for the second time.

He collaborated with Isaac Mutant for his album BRU, which was released in December 2022. At the Norient Festival, Baze talks about his collaboration with the South African rapper after the screening of Mutant’s film portrait.
