Mit elf Jahren stand Marja erstmals mit dem legendären deutschen Krautrock-Kollektiv Embryo auf der Bühne. Heute übernimmt sie die Aufgaben des Headliners von ihrem verstorbenen Vater. Sie beherrscht zahlreiche Instrumente, komponiert Songs und experimentiert mit Klängen aller Art – sie lebt in der Musik. In diesem intimen und sehr persönlichen Dokumentarfilm arrangiert die Regisseurin Rebecca Zehr sorgfältig Bilder und Töne zu einer Erzählung über Familie, Erbe und künstlerische Praxis.

At the age of 11, Marja first appeared on stage with the legendary German Krautrock collective Embryo. Today, she takes over headline duties from her late father. Mastering numerous instruments, composing songs, and experimenting with sounds of all kinds, she lives within the music. In this intimate and very personal doc film, the director Rebecca Zehr carefully arranges images and sounds to form a narrative about family, legacy, and artistic practice.
